I never, ever go straight to sleep; I have a process. It drives UberGeek crazy, he can put his head down on the pillow and a minute later he is out like a light. As long as I can remember I have had a need to read before I can fall asleep. Sometimes it is a page or two, other times it's a few chapters. Many nights I fall asleep while reading the book. Inevitably, UberGeek rolls over onto the uncomfortable lump of literature then hurls it to the floor near his side of the bed .
The kiddos have been on a strict sleeping schedule since they were about six months old. We have made an effort to start them with good sleeping habits since good sleep is essential for parents with multiples as well as the children. Despite all our efforts, Diva seems to be turning out like me. Just recently UberGeek went in to check on Diva before we went to bed. This is what he found:
